I'm installing a new reciever in a contour, but the speaker wires aren't the typical green, purple, grey and white.  They're all different shades of brown with stripes.  Which brown wires are which speakers?  Does anyone know?  Let me know if you do.  THanks.

the green, purple, etc., etc are an EIA standard that will match up when you wire up the appropriate Metra plug for that car.....

Here's a website that you can get the plug from. Trying to figure out the wires colors is a real headache.
