Hello everyone:

I just bought a 2000 ford F150 Supercab with the 2 rear doors. I understand that that it will take 6x8's in the front and rear. Heres my question are there any Coaxial Speakers that anyone could recommend that sound the same or similar to the Boston Acoustics Coaxial, but that I could find on the internet for a bit less then the Bostons. I just got done spending a ton of money trying to keep a 1990 Ford F-250 Diesel going and finally it about to cost me more then the truck was worth so I just traded it in on the truck above. But because I spent so darn much on that Diesel truck my budget is to tight spend the money for the Bostons. I have a U.S. Acoustics USX 4065 that I had in my other truck for about 6 months that I will drive what ever coaxial I get with.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

my advice if you really like the sound of the Bostons is to hold off, save up a bit and buy them.... why settle ?

either that or shop around at different stores in your area and see if you hear some that sound good to you for a price you can afford.....

Take a listen to the Infinity Kapps 572.5 coax. It's my current favorite 5X7.

Up until recently, I was using that same amp to power a pair of JBL's GTO8626 2 ways in the front doors of my 97 Nissan altima. That setup worked well for me for a long time with no problems. They retail for $119 a pair, but i've seen them on ebay and other sites for between 60 and 80 bucks. But they aren't bostons. I say stay stock until you can get what you actually want. Why spend money on something you really don't want only to have to save up again for what you actually wanted? That's just wasting money.
