Two questions.

1) I'm running an Infinity Reference 1230W Sub (12" rated at 300W rms) in a smaller than recommended enclosure.  I'm powering it with a Bazooka EL260 Amp (bridged mono 190Wx1 @14.4VDC).  I'm wondering if there's any risk of damage to the sub due the underpowering it or because of the small enclosure.  Oh yeah it's a sealed rectangular box of about 1.2 cu ft, recommeded is 1.5 cu ft.

2)I'm looking for some info for an old Phoenix Gold sub. It's not listed on their website.  I'm not too sure of the the exact model number of the sub either.  Here's what i know... it's a 12" DVC from the XS Series (its a few years old).  Here's what i want to know...  the impedance of the coils.  I'm not too sure if PG has that sub with different impedances.

Anyways appreciate the help.

1.  That amp is actually rated at 120 watts X 1 into 4 ohms.  Your Infinity is a 4-ohm speaker so that is fine.  It will work great in the enclosure of 1.2 cuft since the manufacturer's recomended size for sealed anclosure is actually 1.25.  Your setup should sound good, just make sure you have the amp properly adjusted not to clip (set gain properly) and it will be fine.  Don't worry about "underpower," that is a myth as long as the amp is not clipping.

2. It's hard to say without the exact model number, put PG speakers tend to always be 4-ohms per coil.
