i have a spl 1200w max 6 channel amplifier. is it possible to run 2 small 100w max subs on it , aswell as 2x 220w +2x 120w 3way speakers without using any crossovers, or is it recomended i get a seperate amp just for the subs?  also is it better to have more speaker than amp, or more amp than speaker?

If your amp has built in crossovers for each channel, you shouldn't have a problem.
Do it right the first time
