I have a stock CD unit in the car and want to know which wire to split off to an amp...

I have heard blue from a few people but want to be sure

If this is the OEM radio that you want to have control the remote turn on lead of an aftermarket amplifier, then use the BRWON/WHITE wire at the harness. Here's the pic of the plug: http://www.velocitymotorsport.com/images/install_notes/pins2.jpg

Sorry for the size of the image i dont know how to make it smaller. This is coming out of the CD player...I have OEM and recognise the plug, so you think i should split maybe off the speakers at the plug, not fron the unit itself?

What are you trying to add ? Did you want the OEM deck to turn on the amplifier that you added or did you need the speaker level outputs to go to your amp for high level inputs ?
