I ordered Brown-Bread to help my road noise problem.  My next annoyance to tackle is a slight turn on 'pop' in the speakers when I turn on the head unit.  The amps only seem to pop when they come on when I leave my Eclipse in CD mode.  In radio mode there is no turn on pop.

After reading some about this problem I think the solution is probably to make a delay relay for the turn on lead to the amps.  Is this the correct solution?  Does anyone have a link handy to a good tutorial about how to build one?   If not a good link, can anyone explain in layman's terms what I need to buy and do to fix this?

Thanks much!

if you buy a relay then its easy. Just buy one with the harness and hook up the yellow wire to power, Black to ground, white to the remote line off the deck, and blue to the amplifier. Its all I ever do and it works like a charm. Ignore the red wire on the relay harness as it is unessasary for this application.
