I just bought a Pioneer DVH-P5000MP.

It didn't come with a remote and I can't play DVD's without it.

I can play CD's no problem.

Do I have to get the exact remote control for it or is there another remote that could work by Pioneer or another company?

Since its the DVD deck it has to be the exact one. Did you buy it used or what? Also it cant be the remote for the flip out screens it must be that exact remote.
