There are probobly screws under the rear deck securing the grilles, or the whole rear deck might come off. Look for screws that hold on the grilles first.

The thing is that the grilles are covered with a light carpet material and I can't get to any screws.  I've looked under the rear deck and there are 5 screws and no clips.  I think the whole rear deck needs to come off, but I'm not sure how that's gonna come off either!!!!

You may also need to remove the back seat. And if you look on the underside of the rear deck inside the trunk, you may see some door panel style "christmas tree" type retainer clips holding the rear deck down. If you do, remove the back seat, pop clips through the holes, and you should then be able to remove the rear deck. Hope that helps.

Thanks Duane!  I'll look for the clips.  I don't think I'll need to remove the seat because it folds down in 2 sections.  All I know is that there are 3 "Anchor Hooks" for baby car-seats on top of the deck, so maybe I'll need to remove also?  I'll check it out tomorrow, since tonight after work the LAKESHOW is on!!!!!

Not sure if you figured this out already, but I broke one of the rear grills on my 02 camry trying to figure this out (good thing someone invented hot glue!), so maybe this'll help someone out:

(should be the same on the 03,04)

The whole rear dash has to come off to access the rear speakers.

1. Remove the rear brake light (just push it left, and it'll unsnap)

2. Remove both rear side pillar snaps (snaps right in, just gently pry)
3. Fold down rear seats and remove 3 plastic screws
    - this'll release the carpet and give you access to the bottom of the rear dash
4. Remove the plastic housing for the child seat anchor
    - .. or you can leave em' in and have em fly off when you pull the dash off =p
5. Grab the rear dash bottom from the newly exposed area in step 3, and pull up towards windshield
   - the entire rear dash will then come off giving you access to your speakers
