wondering what i should us to add a wire harness to a vehicle that did not have on when bought. 85 s10. i know there is a metra part for that vehicle both into the radio and into the car but is there a more generic part that is easier to find?

easier to find than Metra??? heck there have to be a dozen Metra dealers in any city in North America.... Metra 70-1677-1 or 71-1677-1 depending which side you need.....

... and if there is no Metra dealer uin your area they can be ordered from LOTS of places on-line.

If you really wanted one cheap, you could go cut one out of a vehicle in a junkyard. Wiring is easy. Check the spelling on your sig, is it supposed to be ceo of nothing?
