1. How does pre out voltage effect gains adjustments?

2. Engine noise(whine), how do you remove it and is it effect by gain adjustments and pre out voltage?

3. Proper way to adjust gains for a beginner with no occiliscope.

4. I have a true rms voltage meter, how can this be used to set gains?

Please explain in laymens terms. Ok in idiot proof terms.
