i've used an xm antenna for a panasonic sirius tuner and it works fine. im wondering whats the difference between the two. i want to know how the antennas work. are they really different at all. im going to try using a terk marine sirius antenna on an xm unit.

As far as I know, and what ive played with the only difference is the connections off the antena, theyre different plastic covers on the connection. Its the same priciple as geting DirecTV with a Dish Network dish.

i would have to agree, XM usually has the antenna with the green, green & yellow, or now a pink connector, but if you take that cover off the plug looks like a sirius plug. the XM plug can be taken off easy by pusing the while clip of the plug then just pulling the wire out.
