no ur not, u cannot bridge a 2 ohm sub into a conventional amp, if its a 400watt mono class D amp u can, but if its just a standard A/B class it will kick off once u turn the volume off. If ur sub is DVC then wire it in series for an 8 Ohm load, or else run each voice coil to its own channel (if u do that u must make certain that both channels are receiving the same signal).

OK, your sub is a dual voice coil 2-ohm sub.  Wire it in series for a 4-ohm load since that is the minimum your amplifier requires when bridged.  The Edge amp is rated at 600 watts when bridged into a 4-ohm load, but that is a bit optimistic.  It will actually put out closer to 400 watts, which is a good thing for you since the Diamond sub is rated at 500 watts RMS.  Wire the sub in series and bridge connect the stereo amp.  Set the gain properly and leave the bass boost OFF.  If you are not running an external crossover, set the LPF (low pass filter) on the amp to about 80 Hz.
