I got a big problem, my 2000 prelude s/h is equiped with the acoustic feedback stereo from Honda. i install my new HU with a male plug so don't have to cut any wires! but i don't know why, my rear speakers are not working, so first i have check if sound was going out of my HU and test it on my front speakers and sound is coming out! so now i'm stuck with front speakers only. Did anyone had this problem before and how to make it work? i have use a male 1998 and up car stereo connector.

thanks, Fred

did you connect all the wires on that Metra-like harness?  there may be a factory amp that you are not remoting on..... make sure you hook up the blue power antenna wires and /or amp remote wires.....then try it again...if not that, then it's time to do a little signal chasing....

I do check all the wiring and there is 13 wires from the factory connectors and on my metra-like, there is 14 wires the 14th is for the remote turn on! yes i do have a special factory stereo system(acoustic feedback!). what it does, there is an amp in my trunk equipped with a mic, who analyze the sound to stop distorsion. But in another way, i had 1 years ago a HU from panasonic and just came back with the factory one and now i dcided to get a dvd with lcd screen system and with the pana, it was working well???
