I have listed here links to sets of 4 inch components.  I was wanting to know what everybody thought about them and which are the best for the money and which are just simply the best.  aslo theres a link to a head unit i was considering let me have your opinions on that as well,

go with the hexes and drop the panasonic and go with an alpine ... blaupunkt .. or eclipse... but were just in the opinion stage...

Definately scrap the panasonic, , if a display is what you want, ,then go for an Alpine CDA-9835, , but the difference between the pansonic and the alpine is that the alpine sounds good. period.

Also add the new alpine type-x 4" component set to your list.

Did you go to a shop and listen to any of these or did you just find stuff on eBay that you thought looked good and might fit into your car?  I highly suggest you go listen before you buy.  Find a system you think sounds good.  Then if you want to buy off eBay, by all means go for it, but only buy what you like the sound of. 

And realize of course that even if you get the factory warranty with eBay purchased gear, it is not the same as getting personal service and immediate help from your friendly neighborhood car stereo shop.  Any repair will be through the mail, and there is no chance for exchanges if it sounds like crap once installed.  Support your local pros!

oh, and the CDA-9835 has an amp in it, , yes, , its 26 wrms x4 , ,  or in the chineese world of power thats 60 x 4
