I was just wondering why do home speakers sound soo much better then car speakers. maybe its just me or something but i bought 4 infinity references for my car and i thought it was sound real clear. It was, it was real nice sounding and all but when i came home and listen to some old speakers i had. some no named brand which i got 5-6 year ago, sound soo much better then the car ones. seems like all of my home speakers sound better then my cars speakers. am i missing something? I like those speakers that it sound like u have an orchestra right infront of you. I'm problably missing sound or doing something wrong here but i just had to ask. Can I put my home speakers in my car?
I guess that guy has subs.

You are missing some vital things. Do not confuse more or less bass as being better sound. Next make your car as big as your house or your house as small as your car. Then sit only in front of one speaker and see how the imaging changes. The demands of a car to the demands of a home are totally different. These venues totally change the way that you perceive "good sound". By the same token, take your home speakers into a stadium and my bet is that you would totally hate them because they would not be loud enough, not have good imaging and would sound totally different.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

bass nor loudness is what im talking about. Im just talking about clarity. I dont care how loud it is or how much bass it has i just want something really clear. I see your point about imaging and making the car as big as the house/room and vica versus. I would just like to see my house speakers in my car, but i see how the imaging factor comes into effect and really plays a vital part. Thanx for your help forbidden. Knew i was missing something =)
