not too long ago i had installed a new head unit into my grand marquis.  after it was installed i noticed that the dash lights wouldnt work.  i checked the fuse and it was blown and i replaced it to have it blow again. Also the head lights dont turn off all the way sometimes and you have to jiggle the knob on the dash to turn them off and if i wanted my dash lights to work i have to unplug the stereo and and put in a fuse......

how can i fix this problem?

thanks for any help

Go over your wires. If everything is wired up right. Im not too sure about your car.

Check your power and ground wires. In some Fords there is a 12 volt wire that appears to be ignition, when it is actually for the lighting. Check to make sure that you haven't used a lamp wire for the radio ground. It will test as ground until the lights are turned on.
