I recently had my MB Quart X-overs stolen, I have the RSB 218's.  The X-overs retail for about $100 each and I just don't have that kind of cash.  So I was wondering what could I substitute for them?  Would an AudioControl 3XS work fine in its place?  Thanks.

Also would it sound that much worse without the MB Quart x-overs there?  I have a clarion HX-D10 H/U and a Memphis ST-3004 amp.

Be sure to have some sort of crossover on the tweeters or you will damage them.  I'm not sure about what features that clarion has, but if it has electronic crossovers you can use those and bi-amp w/ the 4-channel amp.

Otherwise my advice would be to hit up ebay for something like that.  Who knows, you might even be able to buy back your crossovers when the thief sells them on ebay.  :-)
