What polk speakers are you replacing? I personally wouldn't use Audiobahn speakers, or anything Audiobahn period. Although they're products can do the job, there are many other products which can do the job way better. I think infinity makes some good sounding fairly priced speakers. It all comes down to how much you'd like to spend.

Hey man, i wouldn't use audiobahn products either. I'd use polk db series in all honesty. i had 2 sets of 6 1/2 components in my girl's spyder. i fabricated aluminum plates for the back where the factory 6x9's were. and put the tweeters in the factory (dash) locations. the other set was installed in the pillars.... just my opinion. polk has better sound quality than audiobahn..... good luck in choosing

I also have to agree with these guys. Polk is better for speakers than Audiobahn. Infinity and Polk side by side are like Pioneer and Kenwood, pretty much the same quality, just different prices. audiobahn speakers -- posted image.

Hey guys  i have two audiobahn 12"s right now and i'm not completely happy with them too they just dont play as loud as i want them to so in other words there out.  I just ordered my self a thunder 9500 from mtx that should do the job a hell of a lot better.  So i would stay stick with polk or some other brand but not audiobahn, later yall

well, I'm the king of not liking audiobahn. Audiobahn has dumb selling points based on looks, not functinality. They use stuff like 2" Surround, or 2 in excursion or 96dB sensistivity and stuff that really doesn't effect the true abilities of the subs to sell them. Not to mention I have noticed that u can kill an audiobahn sub in a matter of minuates when pushing it with near peak power. I pushed a RFP3412 for 5 months at 300 RMS 650 MAX before it finally blew and it was rated at only 400 watts peak!!! The life span and durability of audiobahn sucks.
Audiobahn = Over priced, over chromed, over rated and over promoted crap.

It seems that every day someone asks about audiobahn products and we have to set them straight. Perhaps we should make a permanet post at the top of the page titled "Reasons why Audiobhan sucks."
