Kicker amp fried at 2 ohms bridged

I have a kicker zr 240 that fried after 30 min of bumpin my system..I'm gettin the amp back this wednesday and i dont want to fry it again heh...the specs say it can go down to 1 ohm stereo and 2 ohms mono.. how can I wire it so i get peak power out the amp with out frying it..i have two pg 15's running to it....also i have a sealed box for the subs ..facing the back of my car (96 accord) ..would ported be louder?

Are the 15's 4 ohm SVC or DVC ? If they are 4 ohm SVC wire them in parallel and if not and they are DVC wire them in series for a 4 ohms load.

Here is a DVC configuration with (2) 4 ohm subwoofers: This will give your amp a 4 ohm load

Here is a SVC configuration with (2) 4 ohm subwoofers: This will get you a 2 ohm load on your amplifier

What kind of subs do you mean by pg?
