I have my Low pass set at 80 hz and my high pass set at 90hz. I realize these settings will differ from system to system, but does this sound good?

Generally, subs will play up to 125Hz accurately, so I would set your LPF somewhere areound there, and 2-way speakers will play down to 80Hz accurately, so I would set your HPF around 100Hz. You get a little overlap where the Xover slopes are to flatten the EQ.
Either that or if you have variable Q, set it in that area.

Your crossover settingss shouldn't overlap, and there should be no gap in between them. The setting you put your high and low pass filter at depends on your main speakers. If they are small (5.25" or less) then set your filter at around 100hz to start or so. and your lowpass at the same frequency. If you have larger main speakers (6.5" and up) then usually around 80 hz sounds good, and set your lowpass at the same frequency as your highpass again.
