93 Buick Century Custom stock speakers

A friend has just bought this car. The stock radio/tape head unit is OK by her but one front speaker is distorting. It appears to be a 4X6. Does anyone know the impedance of these stock speakers? Any knowledge on choosing a replacement? (drops right in and cheap are the main words for us...)
