I posted 3 months ago about a basic system I have
(Alpine CDA-9830, MBQ 6˝, 2- JL 10W32s & Rockford Power851x amp)
I have not driven the vehicle much, but still dislike it and was gonna try a new headunit. The Alpine has too may bells-whistles for me. Just want a clean, simple head unit. That Alpine replaced a 8 yr. old CDA-7832 which was great but worn.
Any thoughts on a Nakamichi CD-400? good / bad? Thanks

Nak is one of the few cd players that I would use myself. I would also consider Grundig, Eclipse and the high end Rockford - Denon.

I used to have a Nak HU but it liked to skip alot, so i bought an Alpine CDA-9827 and I love it.
