I am trying to install a clarion DVS9755z into a '95 cadillac eldorado and am in a bit of a jam here. On the clarion install instructions, it says absolutely nothing about what wires are what (pretty convenient). There are only 4 wires for the entire deck, so I am hoping one of you could kindly help me out. There is a red wire, a yellow wire with a fuse holder, a blue wire, and a black wire. If you could please tell me which wires I hook up from the deck to which wires on the car, or any info at all really, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Only 4 wires? That doesn't sound right. At any rate, yellow is constant power, red is switched power, blue is amp/power antenna turn on lead, and black is ground. Don't know where your speaker wires went to.

Yeah dude, it sound like your missing some wires. I would return it for another one if their are no speaker wires.

it's strictly RCA cables. I think it's because it is 5.1 surround or something. But there are only 4 pins on the deck for the harness and 4 wire on the harness. It threw me off at first too. Anyways, thanks a lot for your help

I hooked it up according to your instructions and the wiring database for my car and I think you may have it backwards because it still KINDA works when I turn my car off. I say kinda because it still doesn't fully work, it doesn't light up and it doesn't take in CDs, all it does is eject right. Now, it's getting really frustrating because I spent all day wiring my amps and figured I'd save the easiest for last and nothing is going my way with this deck. Any more suggestions?
