how to power a ps2

   if i were to hook a playstation 2 up in my car to an in dash moniter how would i power it? what would i need?

You could buy a power inverter which plugs into your cigarette lighter and then you can plug the cord in just like at home. Make sure you buy one with enough power to support the PS2.

Or also you canta dissasemble the playstation's PSU and connect it to 12v directly because the mainboard has only a 12v input, just extract the PSU and plug it with a fuse.

i would just buy a power inverter. buy make sure u buy at least a 250 watt to give th ps2 what it needs
