alright, i posted earlier but i figured out more, i am using the factory deck in the scion tc and used high level input from the rear speakers to the amp for the subs, i just put in a line converter from the front speakers to another 2 channel amp that i have hooked up to the speakers, the left front and rear speakers share a channel and vice versa,

the factory wires have two identical blue wires, one which is a negative lead to the front right speaker, and the other is the constant power source, i accidentally used the power wire from the deck as input to the line converter, and since i didnt want to rewire the speakers, the output from the amp was feeding into the other side i had cut, the constant power lead, which obviously sparked at the crimp, i think this was why my amp turned oneven before i had hooked up the power wire cus it had already been grounded...anyways,

this is confusing...so the front right speaker had its original negative lead intact, and the positive lead was coming from the amp, when i figured it out and put it back together right, i found that the two right side speakers had been blown...(infinity kappas!!), what the freak could have happened??? imean i know it wasnt good, but its so confusing i cant figure out how they blew,

if anyone understands this puzzle i would appreciate your hypotheses and advice on what i should do before getting new speakers....

Did the speakers make any sounds when you hooked these wires up the first time(wrong way)?  If they popped real loud, you were basically running 12 volts DC to your speakers, which in a very short amount of time, will burn the voice coils.  Check the speakers with a multimeter, and if they read open across the terminals, that is your culprit.  About the only thing you can do is chalk it up to s**t happens.
If it don't fit, Force it.
If it breaks, You needed a new one anyway!
