Ok my cd player was working when I got out of the car one night and then when I left for work the next day it would not turn on. I sent it out to be looked at through Best Buy and it cam back saying there was nothing wrong with the unit. I figured it was maybe the ground wire b/c b4 it was touchy where if my foot touiched it, it would turn off for a second, dont ask. So I drilled a hole in the frame and re-did the ground wire and it still didn't work.

All the wires look to be fine. Has anyone ran into this problem? Its been working fine for over a year maybe two. Does this happen often???

My knowledge as far as car audio is proabaly novice. My car was the first install then I installed the same unit on my girlfriends 96 cav with no problem.

I appreciate any suggestions!!

It sounds like it might be a wiring issue. you said it was touchy before, what do you mean? If you tounch the deck, did it flash on on off?

You will proabably laugh. I was lazzy when I installed and wrapped the ground around the frame and used eletrical tape. So I finally decided to re-do the ground wire the coorect way.
