Ok I just finished this install...

Tahoe Xl......One Memephis 1000D Bridged at 1ohm.....4ga Wire....60amp fuse........2.5 farad Capacitor.......

Anytime the owner turns the volume up to a certain point with low bass it pops the fuse on the power wire....

I have checked to make sure that the Power wire isnt grounding out...also checked all my connections are good.....I have no idea why it would keep popin fuses...That and I am very tired and hungry cant think straight so if someone can sugest something else for me to check I would appreciate it....

That amp will draw closer to 80 amps when running at full output.

What fuse is popping, the amp fuse or the power line fuse?

I was half way thinking that Dyon...I did give him an 80 right before he left...I told him to just keep the volume down a bit till I got to finish everything...I still have to put another battery in it and flush the capacitor into a pocket....I also got to thinkin bout it I am gonna make a better ground when I add the 2nd battery....So I think i will make a hole in the floor behind the pannel in the rear wher the batt will go put a bolt through it..Attatch one end to the frame and the other to the 2nd batt....That should have him good to go...

By the way the 2 12" M3 Memphis subs really surprised me...They are damn loud...And he is talkin about getting 4 more and 2 more amps...2 more batts...So he wants it really loud and isnt afraid to spend the money to get it that way...
