i am installing a head unit into a 92 ford f150 and i need to know the factory wiring so i can hook up the cd player without a quik connect

Why?  You'll get much better, more professional results and not damage the car's wiring (allowing future changes or return to stock) by using the proper wiring harness adapter. (Metra 70-1770)  They cost less than $15.  But to find you vehicle's wiring color code, chek this site's Vehicle Information database.

It's just not worth the $10-$15 you save by skipping this step.

Make all of my connections on a bench outside the car.....or toy with wires, dripping solder all inside the dash.....hmmm, I'll stick with harnesses. Try it once, you'll never go back.

buy the harness at wal-mart if you have to. Takes all the guess work out of the install. The Harness has all the wiring color codes you need to adapt any aftermarket radio to that truck.
