I have 2 15 inch 4ohm dvc audiobahn in a sealed box. The spl is not good or clear enough for me. I have so much air space I have thought about 3 10s or 12s. I also wonder if I should go to ported or bandpass. I have a Kole 1440 . any sugestions.

Is the box one open enclosure r are the subs seperated? Is the amp wired in 2ohm mono or 2ohm stereo?

The amp is wired 4 ohm mono the speakers will shut the amp down in 2ohm. subs seperated. there is a divider in between them. I have them firing in the box magnets pointing towards the back of the truck. If I have the back window up it sounds ok but if I open it it sounds a lot better.

i know the specs on some sites say 1.5 to 3.5 cuft boxes.   but I wouldnt go over 2 cu ft per sub....These subs dont have the excursion or mass to produce very high spl.....but the will hit, i just think the box is way to big
