i have a 2005 ford f350 crew cab pickup truck. i want to replace the factory deck with a aftermarket. in the double din opening in the dash i would like to put a 1 din deck and a 1/2 din eq. i cannot find any dash kit that has a 1/2 din opening for a eq instead of a 1/2 din storage pocket. any ideas where i can find one? if i cant find one i suppose i will have to take a dremel to the storage pocket one.

thanks,

Thats pretty much what your going to have to do. Ironicly I ran into the same situation last month. Spent a week trying to locate the 1/2 din opening for EQ but no luck. So yes I took the dremmel to the back of the pocket and made the opening just big enough for the rear of the EQ to stick out. I pre drilled holes on the side of the pocket that lined up with the mounting holes and Presto. only about 30 - 45 minutes work.

Although Fords have a "double din" opening, you would have a tough time fitting an actual double din deck in there.
Just as Rushman said, you are gonna have to do some custom work.
