Is a subsonic filter needed for a ported box?

if you ever needed a subsonic filter it would be for a ported box. When you build a ported box it's tuned to a certain frequency. That tuned freq. is the freq. you should set the SSF at. Playing your subs below that will make them unload(playin free air).
