I got a Clarion ProAudio VRX745VD and It's sirius ready but I don't want to go with sirius.  Is there a way that I can put xm on the radio.

It has RCA inputs so you can add whatever external receiver you like.  But the deck will not control an XM receiver as the two technologies are incompatible with each others.

there are new universal tuners that allow many sirius ready decks to control xm radio and still use your deck for the controls.  it comes with the xm antenna and the cable that converts the xm plug to go into a sirius plug.  i just recently hooked up xm to a sirius ready kenwood this way but im sorry i cant remember who made the tuner i just know they a new and they are out there.
