does anyone know if there is a way to splice a jlink cable into a pioneer ip bus cable, so that the pioneer can control the jvc changer?

I'm currently running it that way. but I'd really love to have the pioneer control it after all the fm modulator's changer controls suck, they can't even pause the cd's and changing disks is such a pain that I shouldn't do it during driving.

When I work in computers there's almost always a converter, availible from one standard to another, but it seems like that doesn't happen here, even if I have to cut both the cables and solder them to a circuit board to get them to talk I think it would be well worth it.
