I am going to upgrade my dads stereo in his truck and was looking at the Single Din Cassette CD combo units and was wondering if anyone had any experiance with any of them...Dont want to buy a lemon....

The ones I have found so far are

Sanyo FX-CD1100    Sanyo FX-CD1350...Leaning toward the latter....

If anyone knows any pros/cons of these units please post so I will know..I have never messed with any of the combo units..or if you know of a good one please list...MUST BE SINGLE DIN....

Or after all that would I be better off getting a good tape player for him with a CD changer....

Like you I havent had much experience with a single  din combo deck but I would however suggest the tape player and the CD changer if thats cool with you dad. There are still many good quality deck and changer combo's to choose from.
