Looking for 2 car audio related gauges for an A-pillar pod for my Cherokee.
The only reqirement I have is they must illuminate the same color (or very close) to the dash lights - Green & or auqa to match the illumination of the Eclipse 5443 headunits display.
The only gauges I've seen and liked were Dakota Digital's Voltmeter and Amp Current ones. Would like the Amp temp more, but being I have 2 amps I don't think it will read the tem of both amps..would it? The even bigger issue with these gauges is the price. I'd be looking at approximately $220 for both gauges and a sending unit for the current or amp temp. gauges. I know they're a good quality product, but WAY out of my price range.
The only othe gauges I've seen were at Summitracing.com and were Cyberdyne, but they illuminate red...... ehhhh. Does anyone here have any ideas or suggestions?
Gauge pod is on the way sand should be in with in the next few days. Would liekto start shopping for gauges soon.

i think the biggest obsticle you are going to find here is the simple expression "beggars can't be chosers". You want a gauge that is a certain color, but you do not want to pay too much. I've been in your position many times (not about gauges) and sometimes you have to settle for something that you don't quite want. My suggestion is figure out what is more important, color or price? Go from there.

On the topic of gauges, i'm looking to get A-pillar gauges for the right and left side of my 97 accord. I've found places that offer left (driver) side ones but i can't find any that will go on the right side. Any suggestions? What's the smallest size gauge you can buy?

I was able to find green Cyberdyne illuminated gauges from Summit Racing. They had the voltage gauge in stock, but have to special order the Amp temp. Total with sending unit for the amp temp, is WAY under dakota digitals price including shipping, just have to wait a little bit longer, but they're digital andshould match nicely. I hope.
Hightek, As for right side A-pillar pods, try some JDM sites. Sounds like something you'll have to have sent in from over seas. The only place I know off hand would be www.fizzautosports.com (got their card from HID/HIN in Atlantic City this past weekend). The only drawback with having the right hand drive A Pillar pods is they may be difficult to read from the left side of the car,but for show, it should be different.
The smallest round gauges I've seen are 2 1/6 and 2 5/8, anything smaller would probably be useless.
