If you saw my previous forum, please check it out as well. Well i'm stuck in the middle of two choices for components. Should i go A/D/S 236is or the NAKAMICHI SP-S6500 ? Anyone had any experience with these articles? I am all ears, and i'm going to either get the Nakamichi CD-45z or the Nakamichi CD-400 ... Anyone had any experience with the 400 ? Let me know !!!

what i would tell anyone who "thinks they know audio" is that this is going to be a very subjective thing..... go out and listen to both and choose the product that sounds best to you......

what you like in SQ and what someone else likes may be totally different although you both consider yourselves audiophiles......

I just wanted to let you know that I have a set of a/d/s/ 3 series components for sale.  They are the 336is.2's.  E-mail me at skephart@adireaudio.com for more information.

I can't go out and listen to them is the problem. No local A/D/S or Nak Dealers here in Florida... Any other opinions?

Even though I am a big proponent of Nakamichi electronics, I think their speakers leave a lot to be desired.  a/d/s is a fine speaker manufacturer, but again I don't particularly like the way they sound.  It's all personal preference, but to my ears even though a/d/s sounds more natural than Nakamichi, I probably would not buy either brand of speakers.  But why in the world would you buy any main speaker set that you have no idea how they sound?  Unless you are willing to simply experiment, I recomend you go out and listen to what is available in your area and choose a good quality system that sound good to YOU.

Where in Florida are you?  There are Nakamichi dealers all over Florida, and more all the time now that NakUSA is out of bankruptcy.  And now that a/d/s is owned by Directed, there should be plenty of them as well.  Check HERE..

Here is where you can find the a/d/s dealers in your area, and the only listed authorized Nakamichi dealers in Florida are here.
