I am designing a box that incorporates my 2 Vega 128's using a combination of Autocad, WinISD, and BoxPlot. I have drawn what I think is the perfect box. My question is: How far from a box wall is the opening of the port inside the box supposed to be? I have heard its 3 inches from the wall, but then I would be tuned to 37 Hz instead of 35 Hz at 2 inches.

Your port entrance and exit should be at least one port diameter away from any surface.
