(I have a jensen jxp680 amp. on the front it says it is 680 watts x 4 channels, but the back says 60x 4 @4 ohms. it has two 25 amp fuses in it.) i have 8 ga. power wire on it but i was wondering if that was overkill(i know you cant have too big of wire but...) whatsize would you recomend?

8 guage wire is fine, but if you want to upgrade later on then 4 gauge would be best.   You also just reinforced the product lines of legacy/pramyd/plye/lanzar ect ect     maybe 680 watts max at 40% distortion,   I hate amps that have misleading advertising
