am thinking about getting a 10w7 but only have a 400rms @ 2ohms amp. the 10w7 voice coil is 3ohms. i mainly want sq, but loud is also important. am going to add a 12" brahma later on when i have the money for an amp.
a:is my amp going to be able to give the sub the power it will want to crank or should i go with a 12w6(is the w7 as efficient as the w6?)
B:how many db will a single 10w7 put out?
c:when i cross over the brahma with the w7, how much of a chance of cancellation be with a steep slope?
d: is there any way to trick the amp into thinking it is putting out a 1 or 2 ohm load without adding another driver?

a: you might as well go with the w6 because your amp will probably only be pushing 300WRMS or so to the sub, and will be wasting your money on the extra power handling of the w7 that wont be used.
b: in a trunk, roughly 137-140dB I would guess
c: I would never suggest mixing differnt subs in the same vehcile
d: no

I will back that up,     W6v2' subs will be alot better for your amplifier.   It is possible to hit high 130's with one driver, but you need the power.   This amp will do but these subs will take alot more power then recommended.    And again You should never mix difrent size and brand woofers its to hard to try and control the frequencys and cancelation
