I am having a problem installing my rear view camera. When I plug the camera into the camera jack in the brain, it shows up with lines, has a very grainy picture and in black and white, however it's a color camera. I then plugged the camera into a Blaupunkt monitor, and it showed perfect picture and in color. Could there be a problem with compatability, or is there some setting hidden within the "setup" features, I cannot find? It's just a regular rear view, key hole type camera with a power and RCA output, that should work with PAL and NTSC. Thanks for any advice.

Alpine Guy,   since It has an in dash dvd, I have not tried hooking another one up to it.  If I can find something else to plug in, what would that tell me?  Thanks.

it would tell you if its the input itself, , or and incompatibility issue.   Im leaning towards a bad input tho.

I'm leaning towards me being a dumbass. I realized I didn't hook up the wiring harness containing the reverse and aux leads into the brain.  Gonna retry it today and see if that's the problem.  Thanks.
