Uncontrollable Sub

Hey guys today I was driving along and as I was stopping for a red light all of a sudden my sub kicked in in a constant tone and was uncontrollable by any means I pulled over and disconnected the rca's from the ampbut would s till get some noise as I was braking , if I plug the rca's back in I just get this real loud constant note that I can't do anything about . Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas as to what this could be? I've checked all the connections , ground, rca's, remote, power and speaker wiring and have come up with nothing. PLEASE HELP thanks =)

Your rca's could be bad. If you know anything about home stereo, when you plugging in your A/V's to your receiver and you touch the ends of them (Red or White) they send out the test tone signal. This is normal for home audio but extremely irregular for cars. I would get some new RCA's. I had a friend experience the same problem with a kicker amp and some L7's, but we said hell with it and got him a MEMPHIS mojo amp and 2 15'' LSW's and rocked the house, along with a new set of MONSTER rca's.Good luck"I don't play games.
