Hey i just bought an 69 oldsmobile torando with the w-30 package 455. Now the car is mint so im not gonna do nothing fancy except put in 2 6 by 9's and two 6.5 speakers. Now heres the problem their is only one speaker all together with the car. A 6 by 9 in the back right behind the back seat where the armrest usally is. So where shpould i put the two 6 by 9" And does anybody sell custum kick panels for a 69 olsmobile torando?

You're on the right path. Put some custom kick panels in for the 6" drivers. If you haven't bought them yet, go ahead and buy components if you can spare the change.
I'd forget about the 6x9 plan and just put a subwoofer in a box in the trunk if you don't want to modify anything. Rear fill has minimal value, in my opinion certainly not enough to justify cutting some sort of hole in the deck of a mint car like that.
To sum: Spend money on putting some top notch 6" components in the kicks and buy a subwoofer in a box to fill out the bass. A 4-channel amplifier to power them and you're done.

I agree with kfr01, scrap the 6x9 idea and get some serious 6'' components.

Not on my two cents i can't think of any. What kind of 6x9's and 6.5'' did you get?

plus it is also fact, that 6x9's are weaker in build structer than a 6.5. i just cant remember why though. i think it may have to do with the shape of the cone and comming in contact with the spider

Those are decent speakers so you shoudn't be dissappointed with clean power running too them.

Are the 6 1/2 component sets?   If so sell off the 6 x 9's and just get more then enough power to your components and you will be fine

You usually should run your speakers 20 W over the RMS on components and you'll make them sound great. Of course, this depends on the components. I was running 65 WRMS into a 45 Rms infinity and it cranked fine.
