I have a 1997 jeep grand cherokee with an infiniti gold head unit that also has steering wheel controls. I would like to put a head unit from a newer jeep grand cherokee with an in-dash cd-changer. Do the two units have the same wattage and do they have the same wiring harnesses. Will I be able to keep my steering controls? I have alot of stereo equipment in my vehicle but I refuse to put an aftermarket head unit in and I don't want to put in a changer with a modulater. Any ideas?

I would call your local jeep dealer and ask if they put out the same wattage as well as voltage. After that, return to us and let us know what they said.
"I don't play games. I play Nakamichi and that for real yo" - Probably some japanese kid said this in the early 80's trying to sell stereo out of his trunk lol.
