Those brands are fine for what they are, which is low-end gear.  As long as you understand that they do not produce the power or specifications they claim, and as long as you set them up properly and can accept the sound quality, they will work (for a year or so on average) just fine.

I have 3 Boss amps that are 7 years old and have been played daily for that 7 years. In fact the 6 year warranty was never needed. Now I'm not saying all Boss amps will last 7 years, but I have seen many high end amps that didn't last 7 years. It's the luck of the draw. all companys will put out a lemon every now and then. Did I get lucky with those Boss amps? More than likely. I have sold a lot of Boss amps and have only 3 returns to date. As far as sq their are better amps out there. There are alot worse. for the money you could do worse than Boss. If you shop around you might do better too. Remember 1 thing. Sound is in the ear of the beholder. One man's trash is another man's...............well you know. Good luck with your project.

Boss is okay for the money. sppedwayaudio1 is right, its all on what your ear tells you. If you like it, get it. I use some of there stuff in my bedroom system just for vibration (really for a massage) so i don't even worry about sq, but letting you know for sq, they are crap lol.
"I don't play games. I play Nakamichi and that for real yo" - Probably some japanese kid said this in the early 80's trying to sell stereo out of his trunk lol.
