Ok well i'm on a budget and what a little bump. I have a 99 escort with a stock system. I listen to a lot of rock. So here are some things i have picked out So far.
Subs Alpine Type R 12" 2Ohm dvc 200$ on ebay(i'll take the risk)
Subamp JBL BP600.1 600W @ 2Ohm 159$
Comps Alpine Type R 6 3/4" 249$
Comp amp JBL BP80.4 40Wx4 139$
Hu Panasonic MXE CQ-C5410U 219$
KnuKonceptz Wiring 30$
Grand Total 1000$ (rounded up)
Oh ya the box is gunna be custom, going to be making a glass box for it, amps in middle with the subs on the outside. Sealed 1 Cu/Ft each.
So whats the verdict on this?

What orions do you have? if you got the H2's i'd keep em, if you have the HCCA's i'd lose them. Just by personal preference, not by statistics and specs.

I have the Orion C12s. Not the best subs, but I dont have a lot of money to spend on car audio stuff, its a nice starter system, and I think the JBL amp will make em pound enough to sastisfy me untill I can get some better ones.

Yeah, upgrade those when you get a chance, but the JBL amp is fantastic nevertheless!
"I don't play games. I play Nakamichi and that for real yo" - Probably some japanese kid said this in the early 80's trying to sell stereo out of his trunk lol.
