I have an 04 nissan frontier extended cab, while i have found alot of advice concerning subwoofer enclosures for the crew cab I have found none for my truck(at least within my financial perameters). I have a rockford fosgate P212S4 sub that I would like to build a ported box for that would fit behind the drivers seat and the port would fire under my seat. I 've tried using winisd alpha but my driver is not listed and when i tried to add my driver it gave me an unreal box size and port demension. has anyone dealt with this or know where i can go for an example to this?

Stolen from Crutchfield's page on your woofer:

Recommended Vented Box Volume: The vented box sizes recommended by Rockford Fosgate range from 1.25 cu/ft to 2.0 cu/ft. Within this range, the ideal size recommended by Rockford Fosgate is 1.75 cu/ft, so this is the enclosure recommended by Crutchfield. One 4" diameter x 11" long port should be used with a 1.75 cu/ft enclosure.

i have used that size box with that exact size port on a p2s4 before...sounds good...i have also tried 2cube with a larger port but square instead of round...both tuned the same...the smaller box sounded better...they were both in the same car...talon...running off the same amp...punch 800a2...if you can fit the 1.75 cube in there do it...if not...make space...you will be happy you did...never a bad idea to do what DYohn says anyway
