Fedex brought me my new amp ! Do you think this thing will make my Boston Acoustics Pro 12.5LF sub hit harder than the Phoenix Gold xs2500 it is currently on ? My new amp arrived ! -- posted image.

Anyway, it was the birthsheet of my RF 1051S amp - it puts out 1119W continuous RMS My new amp arrived ! -- posted image.

You need to give it a file extension.
i.e. image.jpg or image.gif

Thats a whole lotta power for that one 12. Please tell me you know how to set your gains properly. But ya that amp is gonna make that thing absolutly hammer. Also ost pics of your install when you get it done. I wanna see how your plexi turns out.

The Boston Acoustics Sub should be able to handle that power. Should be fine for amps up to 1200W RMS.
I usually just set the HU to 0dB for bass, turn the gain all the way down on the amp, then crank the volume on the HU and gradually increase the gain until it's to my taste...
I don't have access to an oscilloscope. Can you suggest any other methods of setting the gain on the amp properly ?

My bad I was thinking the that sub only handled 600 RMS not 1200. If you wanna know how to properly set your amp do a serch on this site for setting gain with a dmm. Its easy to do and acurate
