My new amp arrived !

Fedex brought me my new amp ! Do you think this thing will make my Boston Acoustics Pro 12.5LF sub hit harder than the Phoenix Gold xs2500 it is currently on ?

Ravendarat... The Boston Acoustics Sub should be able to handle that power. Should be fine for amps up to 1200W RMS. I usually just set the HU to 0dB for bass, turn the gain all the way down on the amp, then crank the volume on the HU and gradually increase the gain until it's to my taste... I don't have access to an oscilloscope. Can you suggest any other methods of setting the gain on the amp properly ?
