I'm trying to set up my system for optimum sound, but I dont really know much about frequencies.

Here is my system, perhaps you guys can tell me where to cross over everything?

My brand spanking new Alpine CDA-9835 serves as my HU. I have Boston Acoustics Rally 6.5 in the door, powered by a really old Alpine v12 pushing about 70watts per channel. The rear speakers are Infinity Kappa 4" powered by the HU. The sub is an 10" MB Quart PWE 252 (wired for 4ohms), powerd by a Phoenix Gold Ti600.2 bridged.

The 9835 has so many friggin features and so many complicated adjusitmens, that I am struggling to set it up properly. Where should the sub be crossed over, and what about the othee speakers?

I would cross you fronts over (HPF) at about 100 Hz and cross the sub over at (LPF) 100Hz. Do this with the HU if it has the option.

And I would cross the rears at 100Hz too.

Play around with it. The lower you push the crossover points the steeper the slope should be. You might want to bump the 4" drivers up to 150hz, maybe higher. You'll want to play around with the right xo for the sub and 6.5" driver. Sometimes subs are a tad too present at 100hz. Some people say they don't feel enough kick at 80hz. It will depend on your sub, your tastes, and the music you listen to.
