After debating which subs would be best under the seat of my extra cab silverado, I finally think I know what I want to do. Since the subs need so much airspace for the 2 12w3v2's (1.25^ft each.) I think it would be better go to with 2 10w6v2's? What do you think? I would have to raise my seat maybe one or two inches at the most for the mounting depth, but I wouldnt have to worry about airspace .65^ft each. They would be powered by a 500/1 jl amp for awhile until I can afford another one. How do you guys think this would sound? Also what is a good comp set to go with these subs? Thanks for the help!

it should sound pretty good. i have a single 12w6v2 and it sounds amazing but is not very loud because i have a single cab, though i wouldnt want to pay anything close to full price for one of them. not worth the money. for the comps you will have to listen to them to find the sound you like. check out adire audio kodas, focals, mbquarts, and if you have the money bostons. i finally found someone with a pair of kodas this weekend, and they sound amazing for the money.

You made the comment that it is not worth the money? Then what in your opinion is?
