im an looking for a good 100w amp to power 2 kove 3 1/2" coaxials 40watt max/20 watt rms, it must have a built in adjustable crossover. i dont want to spend the money on the kove ag500 2channel and i dont want to use the my head unit amp.... any suggestions?

Hmm.. Well, how much is the AG500? i.e. what is your max price?

i was looking at the clarion apa250.... but i havent heard it

the ag500 is like $300.... im not too sure...it might be less, kove did not list there new prices on their site. my dealer might give it to me for i think its a little big anyways.

i need something small... like one that can fit in a glove box

For a small amp with true power I would look towards alpine

AMP-100... by Navone. $46 shipped and small enough to fit in the glove box.

Most likely plenty good enough for 3.5 coaxials. Email Dave Navone for info on using it....he responds quickly to questions. I have read some good things about this little amp on his website and the caraudio forum, but haven't tried using it myself.
